“This place has all the Door County charm while being updated for an enjoyable stay. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage. Each bedroom had its own AC unit so we were able to adjust as needed. It was wonderful, the cottage was clean and the beds were huge and comfortable. Egg Harbor beach is just a short walk away – but the staff offers shuttles to and from the beach if needed. The view from the cabins is amazing! They also have fun games for you to check out at the main office, our kids loved playing the outdoor shuffle board.”

“We stopped on the grounds and took a look at the property while out having breakfast at Burton’s on the Bay (also on property). The views are spectacular and the dining was great. The views might just be the best in Door County.”

“New owner is doing it right! Grounds look amazing, such a nice wedding venue. As locals we will be frequenting Burton’s all year round. We had dinner there a few days ago, had a nice round table for 8 people. The food was delicious especially the appetizers! Very serene environment and it’s nice to walk on the dock/pier after dinner. Professional service. We will be year-round regulars.”

“We’ve been coming to the Alpine for the better part of a decade and renting cabins with the same group of friends. All of us were in love with the old Alpine and were admittedly quite concerned knowing that changes were afoot… The concern quickly vanished when we saw how wonderful the updates were and the obvious care that has gone into preserving the Alpine as it’s true self and for years to come. Kudos to all the staff who are clearly there because they want to be. See you next year!”

“Trying to find a place to stay for Sister Bay Fall Fest on late notice, I stumbled on Alpine Resort and they had availability. It felt too good to be true so I kept searching and found my way back to The Alpine and I am SO glad I did! This place felt like staying at Kellerman’s on Dirty Dancing! Absolutely charming, right on the waterfront, the cottages were remodeled and so well done. They were clean and simple and plenty of room! We will be back and we have told all our friends. The bellhop even drove our group to town and picked us back up! What service! 10/10 recommend!”

“Perfect, fun, family getaway. All of the cottages have recently been updated. Everything was clean, comfortable and perfect for relaxing. I had the best sleep I have had in weeks. I especially enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the deck enjoying morning coffee! Service was outstanding. Loved it and will be back!”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend in the summer. Hotel rooms were hard to come by in Door County, and the Alpine had just renovated their Clubhouse to have guest rooms upstairs. We had a nice room overlooking the golf course. This is a separate building from the resort main lodge and cabins, and is newly and stylishly furnished. Good location and access to the rest of town. Make sure to ask for the Clubhouse rooms when booking!”

“We stayed the weekend for our anniversary in the newly renovated cabins and loved our cabin. It was like a little home away from home. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everybody treated us like VIPs and went the extra mile to make our time in Door County so special. The cabins and lodge are within walking distance from downtown Egg Harbor. Shops and restaurants are close and convenient with plenty of things to do. October is a great time to visit with the fall color and slower pace to the area. We had such a great time and looked forward to the peace and quite that a weekend getaway needs. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary weekend.”

We went for a wedding and stayed in the recently remodeled cottages. The cottages had the old charm remaining and they are still remodeling the lodge. Definitely a must see.”
