One of the most striking features of this course is Hole 9 where the fairway drastically descends from the bluff, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding terrain, Egg Harbor and the Bay.
The green on Hole 1 is uniquely positioned right next to the rock face of the bluff, creating a dramatic and scenic backdrop for your putt. Hole 3 is a par 3, where the green is surrounded by sand, creating a dramatic ‘island’ effect. As you approach the tee box, the challenge becomes clear — there’s no room for error. This hole demands precision and control with your tee shot, as the surrounding bunkers are designed to catch any mis-hits, leaving you with a tricky recovery if you’re not on target.
Another standout is Hole 5, a long, dogleg Par 5 that tests a player’s ability to plan each shot. The fairway curves sharply to the right requiring golfers to carefully position their drive to avoid natural hazards and set up for an approach to the green. The updated sand quality contributes to an overall more enjoyable, visually stunning round of golf. It allows for a cleaner, more consistent strike, giving you greater confidence with every bunker shot.
With features like these, the Alpine course not only provides a test of skill but also offers a visually captivating round, making every hole a memorable experience.
